About

We are members of the AWSC (Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs) and WATVA (Wisconsin ATV Association). It is through our connections with these outstanding state organizations that we stay on top of the new laws and regulations affecting our sport.  Our club works closely with Washburn County Forestry and the Wisconsin DNR and also provides Snowmobile and ATV safety classes.

Our members donate over 1000 hours every year to our outstanding snowmobile trail system, plus the hours they spend on the ATV trail system. Our trail system goes through public and private land.  Many gracious landowners allow the trails to pass through their land, without them our trails wouldn’t be as wonderful as they are.  Each summer, the club hosts the Landowners Appreciation Picnic to thank our incredible landowners.

Rolling Hills is an active club and is always looking for new members to join, not only in the work, but also the fun! Be sure to check out our events page for information on upcoming events.

Since December of 1974, Rolling Hills has been dedicated to the success of snowmobiling in Washburn County.  In 2006 Rolling Hills expanded to develop and maintain the ATV trails as well. This year (2024) marks our 50th anniversary as a club!

Rolling Hills maintains over 130 miles of Washburn County’s Snowmobile trails and nearly 75 miles of Washburn County’s ATV trails.  We solely rely on our dedicated, hard working volunteers to get the trails ready for each season and keep them in excellent condition throughout the season.
