We are working on rerouting a section of trail by Pair O Lakes Lodge to avoid the road route. Thanks to Mark and Kim owners of Pair O Lakes we will be able to avoid the often bare road route. Stop by and tell them “Thanks”!
It will be a huge project moving the old bridge from Whalen Lake to the water crossing, but with lots of help, it will get done. Here are a few photos of the bridge to be moved, courtesy of Joe Fitz.
I went up to the site today BEFORE the temp change and blowing that I see now……..this is going to be the best adventure we’ve attempted in a long while…….Jim says we’ll probably take off the deck cuz it looks like only one deck…..there are four of these big beams sitting on four huge wood 14″ beams……on each end…..the WCC boys built this under the direction of our buddy Bob BUSCH…..RIP!
